Corene's Diaper Bag

I have been taking some sewing classes at Joan Fabrics. I thought I would make an easy diaper bag for my sister Corene. At my sewing class I began cutting out the pieces to the pattern. Apparently, the bag is a lot more complex than I thought it would be. It took three hourse to just cut all of the pieces out. I will have to take another two classes to get it finished. It will definitely be a good learning experience for me. Hope it turns out!
This is a picture of the bag on the front of the pattern.

Corene wanted white and black poka doted material. She also wanted turquois as well. The turquois will go on the outside side pockets. It will also go on the handle. The ribbon will go around the bag.

There is a clip that holds a binky as well.

Here is a close up of the material. Corene wanted to see it! Hope it turns out and that you like the material Corene!

My Cruise

Me kissing a stingray. If you kiss a stingray you get 7 years of good luck! This was at Stingray City in the Grand Caymans.

This stingray was huge!

This is a picture of Ocho Rios Jamaica. I am used to places like Mexico... So to me it was very green!

Like my rasta hat and dreds! I just had to try it on. I should have bought the hadt but I did'nt.

Corene... this is for you. We had jerk chicken in a tortilla. It was so good. It hit the spot!

This is a picture of when we pulled into Roaton Honduras. This island is only 36 miles long.

This parrot tried to eat the bottons off my hat. I turned my head and then he tried to pull my hat off. What a little devil!

Getting ready to go snorkeling in Honduras. The water was so warm.

Just chillin! The view was so pretty in the morning. I just loved it!

I'm driving a mini boat in Jamaica here. Then after that we went to the famous Dunn water falls. The falls were neat to climb up. The falls were 600 feet tall.

These Jamaican boys were hanging out on the beach. I could not resist getting a sweet pic with them. Ha ha!
Here is Becca and I at the Dunn falls in Jamaica.

Formal night! It was so fun to dress up and look pretty.

Just chillaxin on the boat! Reading a magazine! This is what I am talking about.

You get 7 years good luck when you kiss a stingray. My roommate and I got 21 years because we each kissed three stingrays. The stingrays felt like sand paper on top and underneath they felt so smooth. They did not feel slimmy at all. I think the stingray excursion was my favorite. They were so awesome! Oh, by the way this was in the Grand Caymans at Stingray City.

This monkey was so cute on my roommate Becca's shoulder. However, it decided to jump onto my head and then wrap its tail around my neck. It was crazy! Ha Haaaa!

Just the Girls

This was the first boat launch of Big Bertha. I got two boats for free from the P.E teacher at my school. We took out one of them at night time. Kara took her family's canoe. All of us girls strapped down the boats in the back of her Dad's truck. We did it all by ourselves. Too bad there where not cute boys watching us.

Kara and I.

Natalie, Rebecca, and I.

This was my district bowling team. We bowled three games. It was a lot of fun. Our team name that I came up with was the Pink Ladies.

Jamie, Heather and I. My old buddies!

We also went four-wheeling with some friends up near Kyle's house.

Before we went four-wheeling we had some pancakes. Look at the buetiful mountains in the background. Thanks Kyle!

The Temple Lights

Some of my friends and I at the temple. There was actually about 25 of us that went to see the lights. Then we went for some pizza at this crazy place called Organ Stop Pizza. There was a guy playing the organ while we had our pizza. The organ had drums, bells, and other instruments hooked up to it hanging from the ceiling. It was pretty crazy. Anyone could request a song and the organ guy would play it. Rebecca on the far right and Megan on the far left are going to move into my house in January. Yeah! New roomates!

Owl Soccer

I finally finished Hootie the Owl on the gym wall. I am so happy to finally be done. Later the same day I got the team together for some photos in front of the Owl. What a hoot!
